Not flexible, your given a schedule, hard to trade, or give trips away, no bidding system, no jumpseat agreements , no airline agreements other carriers, no domestic flights in US. Hard for usa employees to commute. No senioity in bidding schedules or reserve. Everyone shares reserve. Not fair for senior people you don't know where you are on reserve if you will be called they have no system. It's all up to the crew Desk ... And don't call them.. long flight sectors 4 days in a row back and forth to Europe no days off. The pay has capped at 5 years usa crew in contract negotiations.
