      Funding for undergraduate students who are in labs unable to fund them. Allows for undergraduate students to get research experience during the summer instead of focusing on a job to support them during the summer.

      Cons

      Compensation is very low unless you are in the engineering department, Engineering department receives greater funding. The program got suspended indefinitely when a new director took over the Office of Undergraduate Research,

      - great boss within EOL - interesting seeing other lectures for different majors - able to do homework on the job

      - sometimes odd hours - maximum number of hours you can work a week isn’t very high
