Pros
EA management seem to value work/life balance and communicate well.
Cons
The compensation is non-competitive The tooling is bottom barrel Budgets are cutting necessary tooling rather unnecessary people The company is entirely driven by 3rd party companies The company has little to no insights on how to do software development and are extremely waterfall in nature Money burn is a huge issue, and at it's core it's because of poor talent and heavy 3rd party company investments YOY profits have been crashing The company doesn't know how to compete in the EV field at all Japanese culture is dragging the company to the grave Rather than creating a more collaborative Agile like environment, a painful amount of process is added across the board (unreasonably so).
