Not family friendly - Anonymous employee Newmont Employee Review

Inflexible hours for working mothers/fathers, no matter how efficient the employee which makes being a working family nearly impossible. Very difficult to get support for new ideas or technology that would help make products and work more up-to-date and cutting edge. Being discriminatory or passive aggressive as management seems to be encouraged but actual results and work is not. Overall, if you are a motivated employee and enjoy the path you've chosen, especially if you are in the geosciences, this is not an employer that appreciates and supports passion.
