Pros

- Colleagues are great - Work/technology is interesting - Nice offices (it is shame you won't get a permanent seat assigned, though) - Unlimited home office

Cons

- Low salaries - Weak benefits - Cuts in those weak benefits - High expectations - Employees don't benefit from the success of the company, but suffer all it's hardships (you'll get fired as soon as you are not needed) - Rigid rules that allow salary reviews only once a year, and you are not guaranteed to get any raise, and even when you do, it's pitiful - I never got any money for extra hours, nor any recognition for extra effort, but it was normal to stay longer to finish work - Loads of needless bureaucracy - Communication with management and HR really sucks - No job security - when the client leaves or decides to cut costs, you will get fired - Unfulfilled promises & Loads of mistakes Because of several mistakes made by employees of Ness, I didn't get any raise after a promotion. When I resigned, they finally found a mistake that caused this. I've been told they are terribly sorry, but Ness refused to pay anything extra for my hard work because I had no formal agreement (which I couldn't get, because my manager literally hasn't talk to me since I got the promotion; again, this lack of communication was also caused by some mistake, there were more of those). No one cared for the fact that I did my work well on the position for which I was interviewed, nor my good feedbacks over the years. If you are thinking about joining Ness, please don't, unless you are really desperate and have no other options (and even then, think of it as a stepping stone, not the final destination). They won't treat you fairly :(

Pros

No that I can think of

Cons

One of the worst jobs I have ever had. The recruiter promised me a range of salary and when it was time to actually land somewhere she did not offer what was discussed and low balled me. Told me I was greedy and I pushed back saying It's not what we discussed. I was able to lock in the low part of that range but then she does a bait and switch on me telling me the role is fully remote. Then I am being told and yelled at to come into a office when that is not what was discussed or in my offer letter. I had a manager who sat in another country and on day one of meeting them, they chewed me out for not going into a office when I already had pre- engagements before taking the job and let everyone know multiple times. It wasn't even a hello how are you, it was a full on yelling match at me, for not being in and if I have done this at "other companies". People I worked with did my job and kept over stepping and I couldn't do my role because a PM kept doing all the design work. Eventually, I say down with HR to voice concerns and decided to leave the role since its not what was promised or discussed. Awful company with awful people who will throw you under the bus at any point in time.
