Pros

- Decent benefits overall including quarterly store credit and PTO. - Product is easy to learn and sells itself for the most part. - Though busy, the job itself is simple. - You learn a lot about coffee, if you like coffee you’ll enjoy selling it here.

Cons

- Priority is placed on external candidates when hiring for any type of management position. Unless you advocate for yourself or are friends with the store manager you may never be promoted. - Corporate is incompetent when it comes to hiring and places sole responsibility on the store manager. We were frequently told that there are always issues with hiring, and then when the seasonal employees left or others quit, they wouldn’t hire anyone for weeks on end leading to burnout and even more people quitting. - If your location as a to-go bar then good luck. I had minimal training and saw multiple associates not follow basic hygiene procedures like washing their hands. The store manager even at point tried to convince everyone that employees do not need a food handler certification and refused to listen when told that employees need to have one if they are making coffee drinks.
