9yHello – Thank you for your positive feedback regarding the benefits provided to employees. A flexible work environment is important to today’s workplace given the balance employees need, and we are happy that about 15% of our employees have a flexible work arrangement. It is one of the ways we show we care about our employees and families.
We are committed to developing our employees using several leadership and management programs and supporting our people with the PDG tool which we use to identify future internal talent. Currently YTD 58% of the open jobs for all salaried positions are filled with internal employees.
Also, in 2015, we introduced several improvements to our scripts providing our coffee specialists with more flexibility when interacting with customers. We deployed this at the CRC and in 2016 will be introducing it to the Boutiques. This initiative has been well received, and employees enjoy the empowerment they are given.
