Pros

This is where you get to learn from head to toe about designing a product, depending on which group you join. The seniors are very knowledgeable and shares their experience with you with no problems. The culture is laid back and very casual. It is one of the rare companies in Penang where you can wear short pants and slippers to work 5 days a week. Employees are very close to the high management. Mingling with the Vice President is something not out of the ordinary. This company can provide good job stability, maybe because it's still a small company with high profit margins

Cons

The decision making process is consensus driven, hence making it a slow and painful process. If you are an experienced engineer joining NI, be prepared to have very lateral growth, in terms of position as well as pay. While the basic salary is good, the other benefits could be better (RSU, bonus, allowances). Also, if you are an engineer, be prepared to do a lot of non-technical stuff. You may hate it, or you may love it.

Pros

The people and the culture! Mostly very helpful, smart, fun loving group of employees. NI hired a lot for culture fit and that made the day to day a lot of fun.

Cons

Company vision from the higher ups suffered greatly after the pandemic.

Pros

Work with a lot of smart folks

Cons
