Warning for everyone.. Please read before joining NIIT China,Shanghai as NIC faculty 1- SALARY - While offering the NIC faculty position in India, they claim that you will be getting 90% part of offered salary every month and rest 10%, you will be getting at the end of every quarter but fact is different. 2- SALARY DEDUCTION - They can deduct up to 50% of your monthly salary in the name of PDA which includes so many different parameters like sales target, client feedback, student feedback , pass percentage, working hours, classroom audit and supervisor' feedback. 3-WORKING HOURS- This is the first company where you have give the explanation of your working hours by yourself. If you have to complete 120 hrs teaching or 160 hrs overall per month, if you fail, you salary will be deducted. It is your problem if no work has been assigned to you. 4-UNSTABLE COMPANY- Every year, they change their salary structure and add a new clause so that they don't have to pay out your complete salary. 6- GRIEVANCES - You are not supposed to ask any question or raise your concern, no one will provide you any solution and if you forward your concern to higher authorities, you have to face the repercussions. Once you join NIIT China, NIIT India wont corporate with you or listen to your issues. You are NIIT China problem now. 7- RELOCATION POLICY/ CLAIM- They can relocate you anywhere in China anytime , but does not give you relocation claim. 8-VAGUE POLICIES- There is no work from home policy, no appraisal policy, no employee welfare policy. There is no appreciation if you do anything going out of way. You cant utilise your leaves according to your exigency because all the leaves willl be getting lapse in the month of March every year. 9- NO JOB SECURITY- There is no job security as there is no termination policy, if you are not following their bogus instructions, you will be fired then and there without any prior notice or any settlement. 10-WORK LIFE BALANCE- There is no work life balance as there is no fixed office timings, you are supposed to work from early morning to late night, even on Saturday / Sunday. 11-POOR MANAGEMENT- Lack of clear direction, no transparency in communication, inadequate training and development, poor decision making, toxic work culture, favoritism and unfair treatment, lack of accountability, inefficient resource management, no respect towards employees. 12-TRAVEL POLICY- While offering the job, they tell you that you will be getting to/fro ticket once a year but fact is they provide you only a fixed amount, rest you have to pay. 13- GROWTH and UPSKILLIING- There is no career growth as well as knowledge growth. They don't provide you any training for any new technologies. 14- PARTIAL POLICIES: You are not entitled to many policies like wfh, working hours, performance, pension fund, security fund and provident funds like Chinese employees do. 15-Higher management and NIC head Shahnawaz Ahmed khan will not leave any chance to pin point your shortcomings and always gives you illogical and manipulated feedback to demotivate you. 16- During covid, they deducted half of the salary for Indian faculty every month for 2 years when you were working from INDIA and promised to pay you back once you will be returning to China but they didn't give your deducted salaries once you were here and at the same time , they paid the full salaries to Chinese employees while they were also working from home. 17- LEAVE POLICY- You are not allowed to take leaves during the semester even if you have any health issues.
