- Flexible hours (except for Christmas periods) - good for part-time staff

- Employees are constantly berated when the shopfloor/stockroom is untidy but there are never enough staff in each day to be able to do the work - Employees are never praised for hard work, but are quickly criticised for not signing up enough customers to the company's online shopping promotion - Manager does not deal with people well at all and I often felt very patronised - Very nepotistic when it comes to employment - Matters of conflict were dealt with unprofessionally - Nonexistent workplace culture - probably why the staff are so demotivated - Disgusting staff facilities - for the many years I worked there, the toilets were always blocked/extremely unhygienic and had a broken door - Felt like an interrogation process whenever you had to phone in sick
