Certain members of management were unsupportive when it came to performance. If performance is inconsistant, it's a 'well you need to get better' attitude rather than asking what can be done or if there's anything holding the person back. Many managers unapproachable, even if you need them for assistance with a customer for them to authorise something on the til or if the customer's requested to speak to them.
