      I was proud to be a contractor for NASA for my 25 years.

      Cons

      The commute for me was hard. 80 miles up to work everday and 80 miles back.

      Incredible WLB, impactful work, sense of pride when talking about what you do.

      Have to work with legacy codebases often (like Fortran).

      They tend to have managers who were engineers. And, "we're going to the freakin Moon!"
