Pros
If you like interacting with ppl I guess. And make friends:).
Cons
Of most concern: 1. Below avg pay for A LOT OF WORK, especially if you are in the big store. Upper Management: 2. Micro-management at it's best. You have no autonomy even as a manager. 3. Unrealistic expectations. Keep cutting hours then expect the store to be "up to standards". 4. You are meaningless to them. (1). No matter how well you do, they can and willing to replace you at any moment - my experience. (2). They will gaslight you that you are not doing good enough. There's rare to none compliments from them nor reward system. 5. Little to none support from your upper management (personal experience). No matter it is fixtures that you are asking or products, they will reject you. Have to buy office supplies yourself and hope your AM will reimburse you. 6. No system training and ever-changing standards. Happened like twice last year, and both times they have different standards which instructions given by same person but with broken English. 7. Speaking of which, questions/ objections brought up during the meeting was never answered/ solved. Promotion System 8. Complicated and have no clear instructions. 9. No ladder to climb. They will assign upper management from HQ. That's all I can think about fn. Quite impressive for a company that's been established for so many years tbh.
