Pros
Perhaps just insurance option and the ability to work towards a pension which is probably given at most jobs anyways.
Cons
I am writing this on behalf of my mom who worked for metro for over 13 years. She is now suffering from advanced Alzheimer's. She was an extremely diligent and hardworking woman. She did work towards her goals of her small increases. She was getting paid about $13 at the time but worked and put this job on a pedestal. Towards the end of her career when she was pretty much bullied and forced to leave, she treated the job as if she were makjng $50 an hour. During her entire time at metro, she did have stressful situations but it wasn't until her store closed and went to another location that she was under extreme stress and was bullied out of her job.
