      There is lots of opportunity to advance in the company at the beginning of your career, things move fast and you progress quickly. The people at Mercer are all pretty dedicated and pull out all the stops to try and deliver on our promises.

      Cons

      No clear career path as you get farther up the chain. Mercer invests less in their employees that they used to.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
