      Smart colleagues. Great clients. A focus on serving clients well, despite all the internal complications put in our way.

      Cons

      With MMC at the helm, and the Mercer leadership being from outside the industry, it is all about shareholder value and executive compensation. Weeks are 60+ hours long, and the compensation does not make up for it.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
