Pros

Strong global brand with long-term commitment to sustainability and decarbonization Opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects with real scale and visibility Access to deep technical expertise, data, and global networks across regions Exposure to cross-functional and international collaboration Good work-life balance compared to many other large corporations Competitive benefits and stable working environment Meaningful purpose-driven work aligned with future mobility and climate goals

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to complex governance and multiple approval layers Career progression and internal mobility can feel unclear or inconsistent across teams and regions Strong hierarchy can limit agility and individual initiative Innovation cycles may be slower compared to smaller or more entrepreneurial organizations Alignment between global strategy and local execution can be challenging at times Change management often requires significant stakeholder buy-in, which can delay implementation

Pros

Supportive local management, reasonable work/life balance.

Cons

No consideration for country-specific work procedures, cultures, etc. from headquarters in Germany. Excess headcount problems in Germany are being resolved by workforce reduction in the US and other global locations.
