Pros
Good marketing team with highly skilled people. They had a great understanding of customer issues. Training department is very well run. Inside people care about the quality of their work.
Cons
Local manager's priorities are not in line with Medtronic's mission. They make short sighted decisions. Much political infighting in the field which will not serve the customers best interest. Mid level managers are unaware of first line managers decisions and ramifications. Maybe it's unique to Medtronic's mid level management teams. Other co-workers and employees have commented that they are in it for themselves and there's no sense of teamwork.
