Pros

Work with the vast library of Marvel characters. Disney perks and benefits. Some great people. Employee sales knock up to 80% off licensee samples. As part of the right teams you can attend multiple conventions if that's a thing still. Office hours can be somewhat flexible depending on your boss. Honestly if it wasn't for the Disney element it can be a very disappointing place to work, however the name Marvel goes a long way on the resume.

Cons

No access to the comics. They really don't care if you know anything about the characters or what they publish. Marvel Entertainment isn't Marvel Studios, so don't expect to work/play in that neighborhood. If you do get to work with Studios characters don't expect to do it without MASSIVE oversight. No company card. Expect to buy things yourself and then wait to be reimbursed. They don't like to provide office supplies and if you do need some and request then they will give you samples from licensees (limited quantities). Actively avoids giving credit to employees out of fear of unions. Just recently started caring about Diversity and Inclusion due to the very vocal employee minority. Human Resources is there to protect the senior level members.

Pros

If you’re a comic book enthusiast, this is an excellent place to work. The majority of the staff is incredibly friendly and talented.

Cons

After years of diligently avoiding office gossip, a substantial portion of it has come to light in recent years. This includes toxic behaviors, terrible attitudes, and individuals in high-up positions who are clearly not qualified for their roles.
