Pros

Weekly pay otherwise Nothing. McDonalds supplies safety equipment Marshalls does not. Weekly pay though. That's all I can say positive about this place place!

Cons

Management hides, worked off the clock, no proper safety equipment, they lie about starting wage .50¢ less than promised, We unloaded Semi's without proper safety equipment. Warehouse workers get paid a minimum of $12.00 a hour and have equipment! Quit for better wage $14.48 a hour and Full-time hours with benefits. I now make in a week more than you ever will make in a month at Marshall's! Pallets were stacked 7 to 8 feet high. We tip toed and pulled the boxes down. Resulted in work injuries I had enough, applied at a better company! There is a reason this place Hates unions. This company is a prime example of why unions were created. Horrible company!

Pros

The work is the same every day (at least for janitors), and you don't have many surprises. In my experience, there is a lot of leeway for who does what as long as it gets done. I don't personally mind helping out in all departments after I am done cleaning. Current store manager (not asms) is very nice and understanding.

Cons

The management (Assistant managers in my experience) is at each other's throats to be the best out there and suck up to the district manager. The pressure to coerce customers into buying into the TJX card is a bit much. It all trickles down to the front end, which then causes everyone to be unhappy. Compensation is low and raises are based on company loyalty first, then your efficiency.
