Upper management needs help - Perhaps unintentionally the company has created a bias
I worked in two other companies where merit was the key; however, in this company showcasing the Forbes Magazine Headlines, pushing for certain agenda seemed more critical during my short time with this company. Forbes magazine article talk about how good it is for certain group, but what about other group? Are you okay with overlooking the other side? How is this different than when we were sidelined?
On my last day with this company, I felt sad seeing some of the best-talented people who were overlooked because they did not know how to find so-called "champions" to help them get to the next level. Some of these individuals were already doing a higher-level job but were overlooked (read the headlines of this review). Hiring or promotion (if any) of individuals in leadership roles is based on "a criteria" which does not seem to be based on qualifications.
I would not want my "son" to work here!
