Lean Manufacturing Multiple Shifts Security
Cons
Working at this company presents serious health and safety issues that need immediate attention. One major concern is the inadequate provision of personal protective equipment. Employees are only given one glove for an entire week. Due to the nature of the job, these gloves quickly become worn out and ripped, exposing workers to hazardous conditions. To make matters worse, the facility is infrequently sanitized, leading to high levels of bacteria on metal, plastic, and dirty bags. Despite the clear need for more gloves, getting replacements is a frustrating and futile process. Requests for additional gloves are often met with indifference, and employees are frequently required to ask multiple people before eventually giving up. The company has vending machines that could easily provide gloves, but employees do not have access to them. This lack of access to essential supplies is both inefficient and unacceptable. Moreover, the lack of appreciation for employees' efforts is palpable. The company’s disregard for providing a safe working environment and the necessary tools undermines employee morale and job satisfaction. Immediate action is required to address these health and safety issues and to implement a more efficient system for distributing protective gear.
