Pros
Benefits, profit sharing, working conditions. Hourly employees for the most part are great workers and people.
Cons
From lower management - up there is too much b.s. a lot of disregard to employees welfare and their way or the highway attitude. Too much of the buddy system. Generally all they care about is efficiencies, pointless meetings, pointless auditing, self preservation and cutting costs. Recently they have cut back on man power on the floor and skilled trades ( people quit and not replaced). More work expected in same time with less people. Of course it is ok for management to hire more salaried people in "self created " positions. Basically unfair and a smoke and mirror show! Not much else in my trade available elsewhere for this money. So continue to milk the cash cow for now!
