Pros
Decentralized structure provides ability for quick problem solving and eliminates the corporate vs plant mentality
Cons
This decentralization can allow for some less than desirable GM's and Assistant General Managers to abuse their power if they are politically connected and ther profits are meeting target. Abuse of employees can go unchecked for a long period of time before the 18 months between employee opinion surveys.
