Pros
The staff was great. Working in a small team can be a hit or miss, but everyone here cares a lot for each other. Depending on your interests, what you learn can be seen as a pro. Troubleshooting processes will encompass the bulk of your work 'challenges'. Familiarity with radar imagery will drastically increase (making this position a great stepping stone) should you be interested. Time off is easy to come by and overtime is a plenty. The benefits provided by MDA are among the best out there. Just don't expect a pension
Cons
MDA is not known for paying their employees well as they tend to give lower then industry average. Raises are given once a year based on a ranking system. Performing your job well will most likely get you a raise that matches the years inflation rate (i.e. around $1500). Be prepared to do shift work, evenings and weekends until people retire.
