Pros

None really anymore - all spin and talk.

Cons

Everything is basically geared around promoting positive spin about Maersk on social media they've forgotten all about offering customer service. For employment and advancement it's 100% geared towards younger people with an IT perspective particularly if of ethnic backgrounds and female as a "box-ticking" exercise to satisfy DEI goals - this has led to persecution of older serving staff. They want to out-source everything to their GSC centres in The Philippines and India where they can pay people much less as a cost-cutting exercise. This means if you're a local older person with experience you are heavily disadvantaged.

Pros

I used to love working here. I love the people I work with. The level of clients we get to work with is great. National, International brands.

Cons

Frequent reorganizations, salaries are not even keeping up with inflation (which is not a "merit" increase, additional responsibilities for no additional compensation, frequent layoffs and offshoring. When layoffs occur, there are always several positions / responsibilities that are not backfilled and no longer owned by anyone. Changing work from home / hybrid / full time back in office policies continue to change. Employees no longer trust the leadership. There is no stability. There is no incentive to do great work. It has not been valued.
