Pros

In Technology, several training services(O'Reilly, Microsoft) are available, certifications funded by the company, and you can work with the latest tech. The pension contribution by the company is outstanding, one of the best I have seen in the UK.

Cons

Since the new CTIO(3-4 years ago) and his Target buddies came on board and by now slowly overtook most of Tech. People from the CTIO's old company were hired to positions not advertised anywhere and senior people were pushed out. Anyone who dares to challenge an ex-Target will be pushed out. With those the "amazing" culture left the building too and mainly left to LEGO... The amount of bullying and inappropriate behaviour increased in the org massively. HR has been non-existent and useless/slow, the processes are from the 1990s, solution for that let's get Workday... Bonus is only linked to company performance, the salary review process is not transparent at all. The career/Job level progression process is in constant flux and pretty much depends on your direct manager only.

Pros

I used to love working here. I love the people I work with. The level of clients we get to work with is great. National, International brands.

Cons

Frequent reorganizations, salaries are not even keeping up with inflation (which is not a "merit" increase, additional responsibilities for no additional compensation, frequent layoffs and offshoring. When layoffs occur, there are always several positions / responsibilities that are not backfilled and no longer owned by anyone. Changing work from home / hybrid / full time back in office policies continue to change. Employees no longer trust the leadership. There is no stability. There is no incentive to do great work. It has not been valued.
