Pros

Great discount Accepting of piercings, tattoos and crazy hair colour Ethical brand

Cons

The store I worked in suffered from very poor team culture and even worse management. Things were decent until a trainee manager was promoted when the previous manager quit - the atmosphere went from bad to worse. The manager would only give hours to his favourites and with a team of less than 6 people it meant some were working one 3 hour shift per week, and would leave the store for long hours instead of providing training to staff who were constantly criticised by them for their under-performance which was due to the lack of training and hours. Core staff was bullied by casuals which seemed to be encouraged by the manager due to the lack of action necessary. There is absolutely no one to speak to in head office about what is going on in store as there is no direct line of communication, you are basically left to fend for yourself. Staff that were ostracised by the manager were told to quit if they didn't like it or to find another job to make a living, and when that didn't work they were let go without justification. Despite being let go, manager also falsely reported the staff quit, causing issues for staff to get Newstart allowance due to wrong information provided on Separation Certificate forms.
