Lowe's Home Improvement

Engaged Employer

Good but needs some improvement. - Sales Specialist Lowe's Home Improvement Employee Review

Pros

I enjoy working with customers, which Lowe's gives half hearted support to unless they want me to get some other administrative job done. Then it becomes a matter of priorities and they contradict themselves on top priority jobs.

Cons

Store is understaffed by design and they try to intimidate the employees into filling the gap but without allowing overtime to complete the extra workload.

Pros

If you want to be lazy it's perfect 👌

Cons

This is the worst company I have EVER worked for, the worst I've ever been treated by an employer. So bad it caused me to be suicidal. The managers are incompetent. They are not leaders, they do not care about your wellbeing, just what they can get out of you. If you don't get credit cards you get yelled at. I'm seen so many employees just walk out because of that reason alone. I begged for full time, never gave it to me, but still give it to new hires. Which caused my kids and I to have no health insurance. Constantly changing my schedule. Which causes you to never be able to make any plans, or have a life. Denied my leave of absence for surgery as I'm literally laying in bed waiting to get surgery. Which was still dinged as a call out. Eventually leading me to a final, to finally get fired from the hell hole that is Lowes. I was smiling getting fired, walked out the door and felt so much relief. Lowes blows.
