Pros
Good for experience. Full time position. 40 hours a week plus overtime. Tellers get weekends off. Great coworkers and managers. You get federal holidays off with pay (some are floating holidays you have the option to use this paid time for these days), sick days, and 2 weeks (10 days) vacation pay every January. Very understanding with requesting days off for appointments. Overall its a great place to gain experience with little to no experience.
Cons
Sometimes too much overtime. Long hours especially after federal holidays. Short staffed, numerous new employees quit after a few weeks/months. Pay is mediocre, we should get paid more for what we do and the risk involved. Some favoritism between supervisors and staff. Lack of appreciation after long holiday seasons and all that overtime.
