Pros
Non what so ever. Move on
Cons
Where to start with these cowboys, If you are reading the reviews to see what they are like to work for please don’t waste your time working for them, just look at all the reviews on this site and many more not one good review. You will regret working for them. They will bully you into working from 04:00 till 21:00 then back in early the next day and if you do not complete the route they will try to investigate and discipline you. They think they are above the law when it comes to drivers time and make you take fake breaks. They will get you to break all procedures and if you are seen to break them on the road by security team that will fellow you to catch you out they will deny it and sack you. The vehicles are rubbish and old and in poor condition no air con and will refuse to fix the air con please remember there are no windows that open so no fresh air if the air con is broken which it will be, you will have your vests on so you will overheat. They will force you to do overtime and use the reasonable amount of overtime even thou your contracts will states, we will not make you do more than 12 hours but they will make you do it. You have body cams that they will listen to your private conversation will colleagues also in most vans to catch you out. Please note you can not stop anywhere to pop in a shop or use the loo even if you ask for a comfort break they will say no then check the vehicle log to see if you have exited the vehicle even if it’s to take a comfort break, they expect you to pee in a bottle. If they see you have they will sack you, you belong to loomis and they expect 300% all the time from you even on days off. They will roster you on 6 days or more in a row and even if you have a day off they will ring you early (like 0300) to get you to work the contact states you will not be roasted more then 5 days out of 7. You will have no Christmas they will make you work and no leave is allowed in December the only day you will get off is the 25th and you will be back in on the 26th early. If you have kids this is not the right job for you. There is no overtime rate so all flat rate someone working at a supermarket checkout gets paid more, and please note it’s not if you are attacked it’s when, you will have guns and knifes pulled out on you and you definitely will get hit by a hammer or moped, no one will help you and you will be working on your own. No personal phones allowed they say it’s to keep you safe, it’s not they do not trust you just in case you plan a raid. You are not allowed to pass on the van phone number to family so you will have no contact with your wife or kids so if something happens to one of your kids and get rushed to hospital you partner will have to ring the depot to pass a message to you, Trust me they won’t they will tell you after your return to the depo and only when you have offloaded because they know you will drop the work and return. Please if you love your family please move on and stay clear of these cowboys if you take the job you will regret it and remember this review. I would like to add that one day I brought in a testing kit for germs in the vehicles because they do not get cleaned the results was the last straw for me there was salmonella, faeces and even Semen flu germs and 100s of other germs that you could bring home to you family they are disgusting . They do not care for you Home life or safety your just a number. They told a colleague that had a issue with his mum who he cares for and his dog the manager told him they are not her concern and refused a day off. Plus new staff are on a different contact that is even worse than the old one, less night rate if you even get it. Please walk on. In the last 6 months over 30 people have left. Some new starters only last a few days. Please note it’s the same for all depos in the UK and the world. They will promise the world to you in the interview and just state what the contact states but once you’re in you will realise the lies. If you do go for a interview please try and talk to drivers that you see but the chances are silm as they will get you in when all the vans are out on the road, if you don thou they will rush over to make sure they do not tell you really how it is.
