Good exposure to a variety of projects, colleagues are usually very nice and supportive, total ownership of projects, the chance to make a project your own.
Cons
They will try to negotiate at lowest rate possible and will be near impossible to get a raise or a consideration of a raise, even if you're good at your job and exceeding expectations. Better chances of getting a salary revision quitting and then getting rehired. Massive salary gaps between people doing the same job.
