Pros

Some colleagues were supportive despite the environment.

Cons

In my personal experience, Le Wagin India lacked basic organizational structure and culture. There was no clear communication from management or administration, which made daily work highly stressful and disorganized. The work-life balance was extremely poor. Unrealistic expectations of overworking were normalized, with little respect for employees’ personal time or mental well-being. Salary payments were delayed significantly. In my case, I received my salary almost 60 days late. Even after exit, I have still not received a proper Full & Final settlement document, and there seemed to be a lack of awareness from the admin team about standard F&F procedures. Overall, I found the environment very unprofessional and emotionally exhausting. It was one of the most disappointing workplace experiences I’ve had.

Pros

- The community looks for teachers who are alumni from the program - The teaching content is updated regularly - The community itself is a huge benefit - Flexibility of making your own schedule - It's enjoyable helping students learn to code & change their lives - The core platform dev team is very responsive - Opportunities to teach globally with students from all over the world - Most students are engaged and actively trying to enrich themselves or change careers

Cons

The hours are long for teachers. I was typically putting in 10 - 12+ hrs per day: lecture for a 1-2 hrs, problem solve with students until 17:00, live code for 1 - 1.5 hrs, and then prep for the next day for another 1 - 2 hrs after class. The experience of the teaching role is largely impacted by the GM of the campus- some will micromanage while others are entirely hands off.
