Pros

A few decent people had my back whilst I worked here.

Cons

I took a job as a photographer here out of necessity and soon realised that the hardest part of the job was dealing with the sheer hopelessness of the place. The pay is too low across all departments. There is no central heating (we actually had a fire due to one of the old storage heaters setting alight) and the whole building is filthy. I came in on my first day and had my full-time contract quickly swapped for a temporary 3 month one by my then superior, who, owing to what must have been a personal dislike, proceeded to do anything she could to get me sacked. On top of this she would hire freelance photographers to come in and shoot at 3 times my day rate, relegating me to file naming and editing captures. I lasted another 6 months, she was gone in 4. I was offered a better job and left within the ample 2 week notice period given to a 3 month contract. This remains one of the worst jobs I've had, there were many days where I felt utterly depressed. I owe thanks to a handful of people from other departments who could see what I was up against and would always have time to say hi, make a joke, or small gesture just to help you along, but it shouldn't have been like that.
