Pros

Friendly atmosphere, love the people I worked with. Casual, non-corporate environment - very comfortable to work atmosphere to work in. Great sample sales and discounts! Unless there is a huge launch coming up, there is good work/life balance. The working hours are good, 9am - 5pm, and you don't feel like you HAVE to stay late every day.

Cons

Salaries are very low compared to other high street retailers. The head office is located in an old, shabby building. Also, senior management like to move people across departments and teams too often, regardless of the employees preferences in what buying department they would like to work in. Once you leave Laura Ashley, it is very rare that they will ever hire you again.
