Pros
Most people in the team are friendly and you can have some great nights out. Many have met long term friends.
Cons
Where do I start..... Salaries are about 30% lower than high street, no bonus, no ,pay rises, no training, no appraisal, no pay for the first 3 days of sick leave, no support from management, no communication, you find out information in passing, poor systems, processes out of date, management stuck in a time warp, out of date offices, carpets stuck down with tape, toilets have mold, you have to work back time taken for doctors or dentist appointments, when the trains are late - they don't care, treated with disrespect, spoken to like a child and looked down on just that you can get a wage for £16k. The rumors are that Laura Ashley is moving to Singapore, so staff have to show employees from Singapore how to do their jobs. Staff turn over is high. approx 60% staff turn over, but nothing has been done. New comers are on short term contracts, as they don't want permanent staff. Teams are under staffed so you end up doing more than one job, for no thanks and no additional pay. No promotions.Very disappointing and can be a stressful place to work because of the work environment. You go to work, do your hours and go home.
