Pros
They hired me fast. They can be flexible. Work life balance
Cons
When I never know what my schedule is work/life balance doesn't matter as much because I can't plan anything. Management gets word from corporate and immediately swoops in and tells the people on the floor what to do even if it makes no sense at all. The people on the floor actually know how to do their jobs and to do it most effectively. Everytime management shows up they tell you how to do your job and act like you're incompetent. They train you halfway on something and you find out they didn't even get trained on it but are acting like they know what they're doing and then when they train you halfway on something and it's not done right suddenly you're at fault, not them. Don't know how to work with disabled employees. (Not me but a co-worker) Everyone acts like they know what policy is but they're constantly contradicting each other. The wall schedule is law. The wall schedule is almost always posted like a day or two max before the next week even though most people don't have a set regular schedule. How the heck am I supposed to know when to come in when the schedule is never posted or sometimes even posted a few days into the week. But I can't use the computer schedule because the wall schedule is law. Well post the freaking wall schedule and actually schedule things out at the very least a freaking week in advance.
