Pros

Strong brand, wfh, smart people, global outreach, great on the job opportunities if you were lucky.

Cons

Where do I start .. bear with me for a moment! 1. One of the least organized consulting companies. No clear ways of doing things. You will be at the mercy of the Sr Partners you work with. Ineffective resource management function. 2. Highly unplanned and unthoughtful upper management. They continue to buy smaller companies, mash them with others, layoff great talent and ruin their IP. 3. Essentially a white company. They claim to be diverse and inclusive, but they are one of the least inclusive companies in the US at the moment. Except for the D&I practice, you can't see much people of color, non-americans and non-whites. Your skin color, the way you think and the way you speak english are important factors in getting opportunities or not. You can make sure that you will not go very far if you weren't white and american, and very likely that you'll be laid off within a year or two. 4. Pay is way below other competitors and other industries. Bonuses and pay raises are laughable. You are expected to do a ton and accept so little. Turn around was not the only serious problem, but also getting new talent. 5. The company is a combination of smaller companies that compete against each other instead of work with each other. There is no culture - despite that they talk about the KF values - and working daily in the office is really awful. The firm is full of bullies, disrespect and being mean is valued and rewarded in Korn Ferry. 6. No training, no development, you could spend years in the company without learning how to do things. They offer online videos you can watch and hope you'll learn from them, but they are really just introduction videos. The company is not interested at all in developing the internal capabilities, or integrating the new companies they acquire.

Pros

I am a consultant through a firm acquired by Korn Ferry and have had a great experience with both the firm (Salo) and with Korn Ferry as a parent company. Great to have benefits and PTO as a consultant and great training and resources available - good communication as well!

Cons

Transitional period during acquisition had a few bumps but nothing major and all ironed out as more time has gone on.

Pros

The client diversity across industries and regions is top notch. Great brand recognition. The marketing investments in Korn Ferry Tour and LA28 paid off. Smart people. Remote work is a plus as 75% people work remotely. No push for facetime in offices. Work from anywhere! Everyone knows of Korn Ferry!

Cons

A culture of long hours and interrupted vacations. Clear demarcation between haves(fee earners) and have nots (execution). High expectations with outdated systems, manual processes, inefficient. Low pay as there are no merits due to market/company performance. Hard to get food at the holiday party so stop at Five Guys prior.
