Pros

* Supportive teammates who are willing to help each other despite challenges * Good exposure to recruitment processes and client-facing responsibilities * Opportunity to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Cons

One of the biggest concerns is the lack of effective leadership within the team. New hires are often left relying on tenured colleagues of the same level for guidance because direct management struggles to provide clear answers to day-to-day operational questions specifically within the YNHH Manila Team. This creates confusion and makes onboarding unnecessarily difficult. There is also a noticeable disconnect between leadership and the team, which affects morale and team cohesion. Many employees do not feel adequately supported or mentored, especially during the adjustment period. Another concern is the apparent inconsistency in role classification and compensation. There seems to be very little difference in actual workload and responsibilities between Associate Recruitment Consultants (ARC) and Talent Consultants (TC), yet the compensation gap is significant. This becomes more questionable when several TCs appear to have prior connections with leadership from previous companies, which can create perceptions of favoritism or biased hiring practices.

Pros

I am a consultant through a firm acquired by Korn Ferry and have had a great experience with both the firm (Salo) and with Korn Ferry as a parent company. Great to have benefits and PTO as a consultant and great training and resources available - good communication as well!

Cons

Transitional period during acquisition had a few bumps but nothing major and all ironed out as more time has gone on.
