      Traditional executive search (c-suite) model. Ample resources (database, research tools, marketing materials) to execute successfully. Strong name recognition that makes it easy to connect with prospective candidates and clients.

      Cons

      Not for someone seeking work/life balance. Compensation tied directly to the amount of effort contributed. Must be available to partners/clients/candidates 24/7.

      Pros

      I am a consultant through a firm acquired by Korn Ferry and have had a great experience with both the firm (Salo) and with Korn Ferry as a parent company. Great to have benefits and PTO as a consultant and great training and resources available - good communication as well!

      Cons

      Transitional period during acquisition had a few bumps but nothing major and all ironed out as more time has gone on.

      Can feel like a small fish in a big pond with such a large company, hard to feel a sense of culture when working fully remote
