Famous brand, good pay, very profitable business model, Klarna academy is a structured way to teach you the business (bootcamp), clean offices, great coffee, fruit baskets, paid gym, Swedish class, lots of meeting rooms, good computer gear
Cons
Even though the founders are quite nice people but unfortunately politics is a big part of the decision making process at Klarna. The product development head for example has a background in politics. Also several people in the higher management level come from army background which has a good side and a bad side. The good side is that everything is very well structured. The bad side is that the system is not very tolerant to initiatives and creativity. As long as you do what you are told to do, you're fine. There are many smart employees at Klarna but not many of them have been working there longer than a year.
