Bewildering, chaotic and lonely. Glad I left as soon as I did! - Anonymous Kantar Employee Review

Pros

Some flexibility on working hours; able to miss peak rush hour which is a godsend when one needs to trek to Hangar Lane and back every day!

Cons

Very little support or collaboration. As a newbie in an unfamiliar domain, I got the impression that my Technical Lead was just as clueless as myself regarding his understanding some the fundamental concepts within our business domain but felt ashamed to admit this and/or direct me elsewhere for guidance. Very much a 'do as I say, don't ask questions' and 'just get it done' culture. Mamagers will not give constructive feedback outside of the formal HR-led appraisal/probation review process, so based on my experience it's best to be prepared for a shock when this does happen!

Pros

None. Literally none. Amazing that I cannot think of a single thing. I’m staying because the job market is awful otherwise I am out of here.

Cons

- carousel of management. Changing every several months - constant reorganization, hired for a role you want then moved to a role without input as a part of a reorganization - employees of set up to fail - management is suspect in their talent and ability to build a culture worth having - trying to “scale” products without a client first mentality - profits over people - legacy remote work allows people to skate by without actually doing work - history of hiring suspect CEOs because of nepotism - people get paid obscene amounts for doing little work. And if they do work, it is so awful.
