Business Outlook
Pros
The massive layoffs that repeatedly happened under CEO George Oliver's leadership has stopped with the new CEO Joakim.
Cons
There is no career track and while they promote moving laterally within the company it's still more about who you know and the org doesn't make it easy in the process.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We are always disappointed when one of our team members doesn’t feel they’ve achieved their full potential at Johnson Controls. We will use your input and insight to further improve our career growth and development opportunities.
Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with Johnson Controls. Your input will help us in our mission to foster the best possible workplace for our teammates.
Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is.
The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving.
If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
