Pros

They pay for your first set of uniforms and parking at your base. You're better off at a regional airline - they will pay you the same as JB but treat you better.

Cons

Probationary period is IMPOSSIBLE. Being a flight attendant is challenging anyways, JetBlue goes out of their way to make it harder. People who are great at their job end up leaving because they make staying impossible; finacially and due to their lack of actually upholding their values that are clearly just for show. I got demerits for being 2 minutes late because the employee shuttle was 20 minutes late. My flight was two hours delayed and the plane had not even arrive and I was not informed. I contacted my supervisor to let them know I may be a couple minutes late to have integrity and I got in trouble. The employee shuttle in BOS is always late, your two hour call out in BOS becomes impossible because of this. They will never communicate with you and every flight you work will be delayed. You do not get sick time the first 6 months you get in trouble for everything. Union here is stuck in a terrible contract they cannot protect you and Jetblue does not give a care in the world if you stay or go. and you are expected to clean the cabin between flights, people have been stabbed with needles in seat back pockets. They skimp on simple things other airlines have at the employees expenses to provide services for customers. LOOK INTO OTHER AIRLINES I BEG OF YOU DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF.

Pros

Working at JetBlue has a lot of benefits, especially for people who enjoy a fast-paced environment and interacting with others. One of the biggest advantages is the travel perks. Employees get standby flight benefits, which makes traveling much more affordable and gives people the opportunity to visit places they normally might not have been able to. Another major positive is the work environment and company culture. JetBlue puts a strong focus on teamwork, customer service, and treating employees with respect. Many crewmembers build close relationships with their coworkers because everyone works together during busy operations and challenging situations.

Cons

Working at JetBlue also comes with challenges, especially because the airline industry can be very demanding. One of the biggest downsides is the schedule. Many positions require working early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and long hours during delays or bad weather. The schedule can sometimes make it difficult to maintain work-life balance. Another challenge is dealing with stressful situations. Airport operations move very quickly, and employees often have to handle upset customers, flight delays, cancellations, or operational issues while still remaining professional and calm. During peak travel seasons, the pressure can increase significantly.
