Pros
interesting projects within the government and an old established company
Cons
although Jacobs is an established and very large company (as a subset of Jacobs Engineering), they're remarkably haphazard in their processes and bureaucracy. HR and HQ IT resources can't seem to keep track of paperwork and forms (often submitted multiple times to multiple people), and it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get the things you need. they also are very reluctant to spend anything on training or tasks that aren't billable to the customer, even when large training activities are required by the customer - Jacobs expects the training to be done "on your own time" and do not provide a charging category for internal/administrative tasks.
