Pros
Large company which means room for growth. Multiple locations throughout the US. Good structure. Financially responsible company. Job duties are specific and haven’t experience any “grey areas”/doing tasks that aren’t my job. Commuter benefits. Decent health insurance. Great technology (computers/laptops/etc. all work and are high quality). Office space is functional and modern.
Cons
Could be more flexible with working from home (this is department specific, Jacobs overall approves and highlighted wfh but it is up to your supervisor’s discretion). I wish there was more “team-building” activities (again, I believe this is supervisor’s discretion and not Jacobs’). Yearly reviews could have a better design/approach. 401K contributions occur after your 1 year mark and they only match 3.5% if you contribute 6%.
