If you become a liked individual you will be given preference for how you are treated. This includes work assigned, flex time, raises...etc.
Cons
Knowledge sharing is actively discouraged. Schedules are haphazardly defined. Some projects are way overstimated while others are way underestimated. Middle management tends to avoid issues until upper management deems there is a problem.
