If you are not made of iron and don't have an interest in commercial vehicles then you will be bored. - Pre-Owned Sales Administrator Iveco Group Employee Review

Pros

Relaxed (although sometimes too relaxed which was part of the problem) generous pay, although that reflects with the volume of work you will have to deal with and the crazy amounts of over time that you will put in. Depends who your manager is but you generally will receive great support. Everyone is friendly and hard working. Good benefits and holiday, can work from home if manager allows.

Cons

HR are slow. My name was on the waiting list for excel training for over a year and still didn't get it. Expect to just be dumped into the deep end be confident and get on with things. (This worked out for me but only because I'm resilient) You need to be tough to work here (especially if you deal with workshop controllers and you are a woman) (yes sexism still happens in this industry, however it's got much better) sorry just telling it straight.

Pros

- It's a big company. Relatively more stable compared to smaller companies. - Good vacation and work hours protected by German labor law. - There are some good engineers and technicians with many years of experiences.

Cons

- Short sighted leaders at the very top. Company lacks long-term planning and changes directions a lot. On one hand, the company is very conservative about investing in new areas. On the other hand, it runs multiple similar projects independently at the same time and ended up wasting the resources. - Doesn't value talents. Doesn't know how to identify talents. Doesn't know how to retain and grow talents. There is no career path for employees. Speaking Italian and knowing how to please upper management will probably help your career more than your technical capabilities. People ended up quitting or losing motivation to excel at work. - Very slow in adopting new technologies. Basically zero innovation. It all starts with people at the top probably don't really understand or care about what's happening elsewhere in the world. There is no research department. No one does or is capable of doing serious and complex analytical work. People rarely go beyond their daily work to bring in new ideas and try out new things. The company is passively pushed to adopt new technologies by regulation. But how it "adopts" new tech is to just pay/waste tons of money to partner with other companies that own high techs, without being able to understand and digest these technologies on its own.
