Pros

Super flexible on location and can work remotely for most of the year Overall, it is a fairly easy job and you rarely have to do anything new - every project you work on will be similar to an older project that you can "re-use" Good way to learn the trade in 12-18 months at the entry level, so that you can move on to do better things elsewhere

Cons

Terrible pay - almost everyone who leaves gets 30-40% bump in pay; Also, bonuses are a joke and equity is insultingly low and you need to be a VP to be eligible for it. Mediocre talent - you will mostly be surrounded by pretty mediocre talent (good ones leave for greener pastures and better salaries in 2-3yrs). Needless to say, this means that anyone senior there is either not good enough or just coasting towards retirement. Also, most senior roles are external people who have failed at other companies in similar roles. Resource constraints - You will often hear from clients that your deliverables were average and not super thoughtful, but it is because your team gets staffed on 5-6 projects at the same time. Also, doesn't help that senior leaders are only interested in selling work and disappear from the account once a PO is signed
