Pros

There are some really great people who are very knowledgeable about the industry and their subject matter. Exposure to a lot of different technologies. Opportunities for training. Good benefits. Flexible working patterns.

Cons

Pay is very poor compared to industry standards, especially for tech roles. High churn within tech roles (almost certainly related to pay) There is also a strong preference to promote from within, which is good at first glance, however this is a double edged sword as when people leave we aren't replacing them with experienced people. There has recently been a push to break down silos between teams, however this has only just started to work and only at service line/departmental levels. There is still a lot of red tape when dealing with the wider business, meaning projects and work get delayed while waiting for the right team to sign off or make required changes. The whole "3 days a week together in the office or with clients" is antiquated and only really relevant in client facing roles. Working from home has been proven time and time again to work, yet is always met with strong resistance from management.

Cons

No work life boundaries. Emphasis on work production and not innovation and transformation.
